Muhamed Dadabhay

Muhamed is a registered Provisional Psychologist with AHPRA. Over the past seven years Muhamed has worked mostly within private health and commercial industries. Primarily he focussed on maximising human potential within organisations. His background in Organisational Psychology has afforded him the opportunity of working with industry leaders to develop strategy, conduct coaching, and accelerate employee performance across multiple job levels.

Muhamed also enjoys working on a more individual basis with clients in the fields of therapy and wellness. More recently, working with teenagers, young adults and the elderly, Muhamed is committed to exploring avenues by which individuals can equip themselves to lead more fulfilled and meaningful lives.

Muhamed uses evidence based practice that has been proven to be successful in the management of many common disorders, psychological problems and adaptive issues. He adopts and implements approaches found within Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to guide and assist clients in the achievement of their goals. Muhamed often takes a pragmatic and practical approach towards these interventions, identifying negative automatic thoughts and highlighting their influence on emotions, behaviour and psychological responses.

Muhamed considers client empowerment as his primary focus. Individuals are often given space and time to journey towards developing deeper personal insights within sessions.
